Disclaimer
What FarmersToday is responsible for, and where that responsibility stops.
1. Software, not professionals
FarmersToday provides software that keeps records, plans work and computes costs from what you enter. We are not your accountant, agronomist, veterinarian, solicitor or tax adviser, and nothing the software shows is professional advice. Where a decision needs a qualified eye — a treatment, a tenancy, a filing — take it to a qualified person.
2. Your records, your numbers
Every figure the software shows is arithmetic on the data you and your crew entered. We keep what you enter faithfully and compute what the sums say; we cannot vouch for what was typed. Check the numbers against your own documents before you file a return, claim a scheme payment or pay anyone from them.
3. Verify before you rely
- Reconcile important totals — payroll, invoices, scheme claims — against the source documents before they go out.
- Check scheme and regulatory deadlines with the scheme or authority itself; reminders in the software are helpers, not the calendar that binds you.
- After a bulk import or a plan change, spot-check the records it touched.
- Export your own copies regularly; a prudent business never keeps its only copy on someone else's server.
4. General information, not advice
Articles, guides and figures published on this site are general information about farming and about using the software. They are not veterinary, agronomic, financial, tax or legal advice. Take advice from a qualified professional before acting on anything that affects your land, your livestock or your money.
5. Availability
We run the service to be there when you need it, but a hosted service can be interrupted by maintenance, infrastructure failure or events outside our control. The Terms describe what we promise and what we do not; the short answer is that the field app keeps working offline and your data is backed up.
6. Third-party links
The site links to the partner sites of our network and occasionally to outside resources. We are not responsible for the content or the practices of a site we do not operate.
7. Limitation
Our liability is limited as set out in section 10 of the Terms & Conditions. If something on the site misleads you, tell us through the contact page and we will look into it.
